To celebrate another successful year of Gurmat school, we will be holding an end of the year barbeque/picnic. It will take place on Sunday June 15th at Erindale Park, in rain or shine.
It is important for all those who have volunteered to help, to attend as well as bring the appropriate food, supplies, and activities. While the event is being set up (hopefully starting around 10 AM), the students will attend their last classes of the year. Yes, that does mean that everyone has to bring their books and be ready to learn, so please do not forget to do so. Classes will be condensed, from 10 AM to 11 AM.
After a brief snack period, the BBQ is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM. Food will be grilled, games and activities will be planned (eg: soccer, volleyball, 3-legged races, tug-o-war, etc.), and everyone should have a great time.
However, it's important to remember that this event is also a fundraiser for the Gurduwara. As such, it'd be appreciated if people could bring money to donate. These donations will only help to improve our gurduwara.
