To celebrate what has been an enjoyable and productive semester of Gurmat School, this Sunday will a fun-filled day at Scooter's Roller Palace.
The day will begin at 11:15 AM in the Gurduwara (Hall #5), where we will conduct a group simran session. We ask everyone to come at this time as it will set the day off on a high note. The simran will go on until 11:45 AM.
At that point, we will ask all parents and students to walk downstairs to the large room next to the Langar Hall. There, we will be serving pizza and various snacks. This will go on until 12:15 AM.
After pizza and snacks, the main part of the day will begin. We're asking everyone to drive to Scooter's Roller Palace (2105 Royal Windsor Drive) in their own cars. From last class you will remember that all children will need their parents to sign a permission form to enjoy this part of the day (please email or call the staff if you haven't handed in a form and would like to participate). Additionally, all children must be accompanied with their parents. Entrance into Scooter's costs $7.50 per person, and it costs an additional $2.50 to rent skates. There is a snack bar on location, in case you think you might want more food after pizza. A map to Scooter's, as well as general directions from the Gurduwara, are attached below.
