Here are some annoucements for this month....
· Name tags are to be worn, not played with. Do not draw on them or destroy them. Please hand them in to your teacher in your very last class.
· Please make sure you have your attendance taken BEFORE picking up your name tag. If you are late, please see Harpreet Bhenji, Balwinder Aunty or Hardeep Uncle to ensure your attendance is taken. If not, you will be marked absent!
· Parents: if you are not receiving emails from Hardeep Singh, please contact him and provide your email address. A number of emails regarding important announcements have already been sent out.
· Group C – please bring a $10 deposit ASAP for your Paat Practice class. You will be discussing and critically reviewing a book that will be provided to you by the Gurmat School for the semester. Your $10 deposit will be returned upon the successful return of the book at the end of the semester
· Nov 11 marks the Remembrance Day Vigil, honoring the innocent lives lost and human rights violations that occurred in the attacks of November 1984 in Delhi. The Gurmat School has been invited to participate, with some of our students reading a poem/short story, and also assisting with the days events and logistics. Buses will be leaving the Gurdwara in the afternoon, as the event starts at 5:00pm. For more information and volunteer opportunities, please contact Parminder Singh. Further details will be provided next week at Gurmat School. Please note that this is an event for the ENTIRE Gurmat School, and we are all to be there in FULL attendance.
