Here is a copy of an email sent out with some annoucements:
-Some of the students (all age groups) are still comingunprepared - they either don't have a piece of paper,a work book or a pen/pencil - so valuable class timeis wasted trying to find and provide basic suppliesthat the students should be bringing with them. Parents, please ensure our students come preparedevery week. Also please try and ask students some type of review questions at the end of the day or ask to see whatthey have written...much the same as reviewing homework assignnments for regular school.
-Saturday October 20 at the Gurdwara 299 Gur Gadhi Divas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.Programe starts at 4.00pm, our Gurmat School studentshave been asked to participate. Todays session,involved in creating seva teams of students, some ofwhom will be doing Langar Hall seva, Chaur Sahib sevaor Kirten.We ask that on Saturday, students (and parents) arrive at 4.00pm. It would be nice, and distinctive so thatthey stand out and can be recognised, if they allwear white (girls in suits, boys in shirts or kurtapyjama)
