September Gurmat Sangeet Keertan Darbar

Vaheh Guru ji Ka Khalsa Vahe Guru ji ki fatheh !

Gurmat Sangeet is a really big part of the Sikh history and is highly encouraged by our Gurus. Unlike the two instruments (Harmonium and Tabla) that most of us are familiar with, Gurmat Sangeer Keertan Darbars make use of the original instruments (such as the Rabaab, Dilruba, Sarangi etc.), while singing the hymns of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Every month, there's a Gurmat Sangeet Keertan Darbar in one of the Toronto Gurudwaras.

The next Gurmat Sangeet Keertan Darbar will be happening on September 26th
Sunday
, from 10 AM onwards at Old Rexdale Gurudwara(the one on Baywood not
the Canadian Tire one).

The theme will be to sing in morning raags.

If anyone is interested to do keertan on this day, please contact the Toronto Gurmat Sangeet Darbar Sevadaars at torontoraagdarbar@ gmail.com.

Also, if anyone is interested in volunteering (especially any Group C students who want to complete their volunteer hours) please email the sevadaars at the address given above as they are looking for more sevadars!
